Today, the humans were emitting their “someone is coming over” scents and wearing shoes. So, it didn’t come as a surprise when my trainer came back! He talked with my humans, as usual, we put on my harness, and we set of on a walk. Only, today, my girl walked me! I was so glad to have Isabella on the other end of the leash! Nothing much happened. I saw 2 dogs, but they were too far away to get my attention. As we walked home, it was so hot and the grass was so cool…I lay down in the grass until my humans reminded me it wasn’t much longer till home.
Then when we got home, I got a drink and rested while my humans talked about “practicing stay.” Then they had me lay down and stay there while the trainer gave me delicious salmon treats, then released me with the word “ok.”
He talked about lightening up on the treats in the future, but I hope that’s the far, far, FAR, FARRRrrrrrr future! I also hope Isabella continues to walk me!
