Okay, so the humans keep leaving! First, yesterday, they went somewhere Smoky called “the dentist” and Isabella came back with her mouth smelling funny. Then, today, Isabella went back to the Nature Center and participated in what Smoky told me was “the Audubon Christmas Bird Count.” Isabella sat by the window and watched the bird feeders with some other people, and they all worked together to count how many birds they saw and what kind. Then she went on a hike and did the same. Then she checked on all the animals. Kernel the Corn Snake even came out of his hideout to see her! I just hope the humans don’t go anywhere ELSE soon!
