First, sorry this is so late! The humans were sick, and then we were busy, but here we are! So, for Easter, the humans made a marble cake that was frosted to look like a bird’s nest, as well as some chocolate chip cookie fudge. Unfortunately, both involved a lot of chocolate, which makes me sick. So the treats were off limits.
Then the humans packed up the car and we headed off to Nana and Papa’s house. We met them there, and they welcomed us, we exchanged gifts, and they all enjoyed the treats we’d brought. They had also made us ham for dinner. Which was also forbidden because it was too salty.
But at least there were also hardboiled eggs, which are my favorite and were NOT forbidden! Plus, the Easter bunny brought me my favorite vanilla-flavored orange rubber toy, which my humans could not find anywhere for some reason, and Smoky got a figurine of Crush from Finding Nemo to go with her Squirt one she got at Christmas.
