Sadly, we recently lost our zebrafish friends Zion, Redwood, and Glacier. To keep me, Rocky, Sequoia, and Yellowstone company, Isabella went out and got some new roommates.
They are a little smaller than the others, being younger. There are 6, and their names are Lucky (as it’s St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow), Ripples (he likes playing with ripples on the surface), Sassafras, Antoine, Sunny, and Gadzooks (as it’s Easter soon, they all have Easter cartoon-related names. Also, Sunny goes with Raini.) They were just in their bag floating on the surface for 15 minutes, waiting to get used to our cozy 76-degrees-Fahrenheit water.
Now they are free, and getting settled in. Yellowstone likes all of them and seems protective of them. Meanwhile, Gadzooks is a bit cranky and might need some time, but I’m sure they will make wonderful roommates!
